4th of July Weekend

We had a great weekend up at the lake for the 4th of July.

Elizabeth got to play in the water and hang out in the shade in the afternoons.  She loved being at the lake and I think wants to go back because almost every night we catch her playing in the dog's water dish. 

She went to bed before the fireworks happened, so we ended up showing her some sparklers and she really liked them!

Cousin Leslie spent time playing with Elizabeth and it was so cute to see them play together.  Okay, so Elizabeth just followed her around most of the weekend, but eventually they will be able to do more things together!

Auntie Tami read stories to Tanner and Elizabeth before putting them to bed one night.  It was really cute how Elizabeth just sat with them and looked at the book (they were reading Spider Man). 

It was a great extended holiday weekend and we can't wait to make it up to the lake again this summer!
