One of the beautiful hanging baskets I was able to purchase this year for our back deck. I waited for a long time to purchase it and finally got it for 35% off retail price. It is one of the most beautiful plants I have ever been blessed with being able to afford!
This is easily my favorite place in our house this summer. Last year after replacing our deck we didn't have any furniture to use on it, and didn't have any money to purchase a new patio set, so we were extremely blessed when William's Mother pulled this cedar table and benches out of her storage and asked if we wanted it for our deck. It sits beautifully in the corner of the deck and really makes it feel like a living space instead of just a deck. I love eating dinner outside in the summer time, not to mention eating breakfast and lunch outside when I can! Our deck stays pretty shady thanks to two huge pine trees, so it is
usually manageable in the summer to use it even on really hot days. Plus, without air conditioning, does it really matter if I am in a hot house or outside on a hot deck?! I might as well enjoy the beauty God created outside!
