Dentist Appointment

Libby has her first dentist appointment this afternoon for a cleaning.  Wish us luck because she doesn't like anybody up in her mouth.  Not even herself. 

Getting my two year old to brush her teeth (even reasonably well) is hard.  She refuses to let me help and she refuses to take my suggestions on where in her mouth to brush...  We have tried numerous "reward" type things that work with other situations, but they don't seem to work well for teeth brushing.  Buying her an electric toothbrush and her own toothpaste helped for about a week, but now that novelty has wore off. 

So we are off to introduce her to the dentist office today.  Maybe they will even get to look into her mouth?  They are professionals after all, they must have tricks/tools to get kids to cooperate.
